To small business and family-owned farm clients:
Missouri has established a new grant program in response to the Covid-19 outbreak. The grant will focus on retail, accommodation, food service, farm and health care industries. Attached please find a PDF of the program guidelines as well as a fillable PDF of the required tax clearance form that must be submitted if grant is approved. The following is a link to the MissouriBUYS eProcurement System, which must also be prepared in order to qualify for the grant if your grant request is greater than $5,000.

You should consider applying for this grant if you had 50 or few employees and your business was impacted by the Covid-19 crisis. Such costs might include:
Business interruption costs
Additional salaries incurred due to Covid sanitation
Social distancing costs
Air filtration systems
Costs of equipment to allow employees to continue to work
Salaries of workers during closure or reduced hours
You may not use costs that were reimbursed under any federal, state or local government funding. You must list what expenses were funded by other programs, such as the SBA PPP loan program.

To request an application, use the following website and click on the link for small business or family-owned farm. You’ll need to have gathered your taxpayer identification number, Missouri tax ID number, Missouri charter number, budgeted expenditures and amounts of expenditures covered by the SBA PPP loan program or other federal or state programs. The application is an online application that must be submitted using a Docusign signature.
